Food & Swine

best intentions

Sometimes we have the best intentions while trying to take a photograph with our animals. Oh the excitement that is felt when everyone has the appropriate clothing on (coats hats etc.), no one is crabby/crying/etc. and we may just get a Christmas card picture! We sprinkle feed in just the right place on the cleanest part of the cement outside of the barn, get the kids all ready to come in, give a few scratches and get the animals comfortable.  Then in the .448 seconds before the flash, the animal turns around and you get this…

Cinnamon

Happy Sunday!

Here are some other pictures from yesterday in the pen.

Cinnamon will pose if you have a big bucket of feed in her face.  (Diamond is in the background being annoying as usual.)

We also rode pigs yesterday.  They don’t really LOVE it I’d say.

This would have been the best sequence of pictures but I was holding my way-too-heavy son and nearly dropped the camera after this one… Cinnamon was feeling frisky and bucked like a horse, kicked out and woof-ed like a dog two times.  Forget the photos, I needed a video camera!
